This is just one example how can you save 3 times by using old milk bottles. As you probably know strawberries like water. So use old milk bottles to place them in it together with good quality soil (which you have made your self ). Every morning you must water strawberries with mixture of 1 part of special fertilizer and 5 parts of water.
As you can see they are doing very well indeed.to be honest with you they are doing exceedingly well.
Strawberries taste great if they are grown without chemicals. they will also multiply much faster ( as you can see ) when they looked after.
Remember about LOVE for plants.

strawberries in bottles
Using milk bottles as plant trays is an excellent idea. I remember my mother used to use milk bottles upright and cut a hole on one side so she had a tall pot and a handle to carry it.
Now that the heat has passed I might try striking some cuttings in milkbottles. When is it a good time to plant strawberries?

can you get supplies of those mushroom kits that usually sell at BigW? or do you have a better suggestion to grow mushrooms at home?
